Learning about Autumn

This half term our learning focus has been on Autumn.

We have been looking for, and talking about, the seasonal changes which have happened around our School grounds.  We used our letters and sounds knowledge, along with some picture clues, to read the items on our Autumn Hunt Checklist.

When we got back to the classroom we put some of our autumn treasures into a basket.  

Then, in our Maths lesson we helped the squirrels to sort the treasure into groups.  

Maybe you could go on an Autumn Treasure Hunt at the weekend?  Can you help the children to predict what they might find?  We would love to hear about any interesting treasures during our Show and Tell session.
